Play in Freeman

Work hard, play hard, right?

The people of Freeman have the opportunity to do both through a number of recreational opportunities and annual events that are downright fun! Golf? You got it. Disc golf? You got that too. Tennis? Check. Swimming? Check. Fishing? Check.

A leisurely walk in the breathtaking surroundings? You have no idea.

There are parks and playgrounds, rib cook-offs, and an annual fishing derby. And we have an annual celebration of one of the most popular ethnic foods available — chislic — and a longstanding festival that celebrates this community’s strong German heritage.

And Freeman definitely knows how to put the fun in fundraisers.

These opportunities only help make this community the best big little city around.
