Organizers of an upcoming holiday event taking place in Freeman have announced that the Easter Bunny plans to be in attendance as a special guest.
“Coins & Candy Eggstravaganza: An Easter Egg Hunt” is set for 1:30 PM on Saturday, April 1. Kids in grade three and younger are invited to get in on this opportunity to hunt for plastic Easter eggs filled with coins and candy. While the hunt is anticipated to move along at a fairly fast pace, preschoolers will have a few minutes for a head start before kids in grades K-3 join in. Bags will be provided for each participant. Kids will also be able to meet Easter Bunny and parents can come prepared to snap some photos.
Sponsored by the Freeman Community Development Corporation, eggs for this event were filled by Freeman FFA students under the leadership of Malynda Penner.
The Freeman Public Library is located at 322 S. Main Street in Freeman.
