Compassion. Attitude. Respect. Excellence.
Combined, those qualities equal CARE and that’s exactly what Freeman Regional Health Services strives to deliver to those they serve on a daily basis.
The message of CARE was also on display at the Freeman Community Center on Saturday, January 21, when Freeman Regional Health Services Foundation hosted their 12th annual gala.
Approximately 160 guests were in attendance for an evening that included heavy hor d’ourves, a live and silent auction, and an inspirational speech from South Dakota author V. J. Smith. An online raffle was also held in conjunction with the event as a fundraiser for equipment for Freeman Regional Health Services.
“Coming Together, Caring for All,” was also part of this year’s gala focus in celebration of a recent merger with Salem Mennonite Home, an assisted living facility that’s marked more than 75 years of existence in Freeman.
According to Tabitha Schoenwald, Freeman Regional Health Services Foundation and Marketing director, the 2023 fundraising efforts and generous donor sponsorships generated a profit of more than $50 K for new CT equipment.
The Freeman community is proud to be home of Freeman Regional Health Services. An affiliate of Avera Health, Freeman Regional serves a territory that spans Hutchinson, McCook, and Turner Counties. In addition to a regional hospital, FRHS’s offerings also include medical clinics, a nursing home, counseling services, and assisted living and independent senior living facilities.
With medical care available for the whole family, Freeman Regional makes Freeman an ideal location for aging in place while surrounded by family.
