A New Podcast

There is a lot going on in our little town right now. I mean… A LOT.

Our independent living complex has added assisted living services, so folks can age in place. Freeman Regional Health Services broke ground on a new hospital and clinic. The Freeman Public Library is hopping with Guest Chef, STEAM Club, Robotics Club, Story Time and more. Freeman Public School’s sports teams, choirs, band and FFA are absolute FIRE. A new flooring and blind store just opened, a longtime business is in new hands and getting a creative refresh, and three new homes are going up in Westward View subdivision.

So when I say a lot, I mean A LOT.

But behind every one of those headlines are people. There are a bunch of communities within our community, and together they shape who we are and where we’re going. That’s the heart of Radio Freeman, a podcast from the Freeman Courier. Hosts Jeremy Waltner and Darrel Fickbohm sit down and explore what community means, what it looks like up close and all that it makes it possible.
